Oh, Lordy Lordy

It's time-
For us to leave?
No, for updates!
Well that isn't nearly as fun.
OK, so we'll go in order of levels. You may take this as a surprise, but I'VE been questing in Celestia. Right now I'm level 59, and as the title gave away, I recently got Forest Lord. And MAN has it come in handy!

Speacial thanks to: Alia Lotuspetal, Cassandra Griffindreamer, Mary Dreamshade, and Flint Swiftfist! Although I'm still not done with Celestia even though Zafaria is out ^^"

Um...I'm almost done with Mooshu, but I want to have Colossus first and I'm only 37, so it's side questing for me!

I'm in Hametsu Village! Have been for a while....

I'm wearing a dress.

O...kay.....What she meant to say was that she's level 23 and she has a new look! ...Right?

I'm still wearing a dress. See for yourself!

Isn't it horrible? Uhm....you're the one who picked it out. Well it was better than the mini-skirt. HA!

Now THAT I wanna see.
Oh, shut up.

Well, I'm level 21....and I'm stuck in the same outfit....'CAUSE NO ONE WILL GIVE ME CASH!
At least it isn't THAT outdated. Scarlet's was like, level 10.

I'm still level 15, and I'm in the same clothes...but I have a Blue Raptor Sword! (Thank you, KI Free Games!)

I'm level 16!!!! And I have the Tranquil Cottage for a house! But there's not really anything in it......

Um...so yea.

Cya!
Bye!
Adios!
You're a department.
(Scarlet, half the people here don't know what that references to)
(I don't care.)
We'll be back!
Have fun in Zafaria!
Good luck saving the Spiral!

(Donna = Life, Christina = Ice, Paige = Balance, Scarlet = Death, Nicole = Fire, Alura = Myth, and Brooke = Storm)

Almost.

Almost. Yes, yes, I almost did.

Yes.

Almost.

If you haven't noticed, lately most of the first-generation bloggers have been quitting. Friendly's pretty much half-dead (as Heather put it, a zombie), and there are only a few of us left. And, if you haven't noticed, I haven't been posting....at all. And I was almost the next to bite the dust.

Almost.

But I'm not. Why? Because I actually LOOKED at my blog instead of closing the tab for the first time in, oh, a month. How did that help? One month ago, I had 45 followers. Now I have 48. WOOHOO! That boosted my spirits! Unfortunately, this year's been tough and I have a lot of homework. On the other hand, I've been more outgoing this year. Which is yay, considering last year I had less than a handful of friends, but that's okay. I still won't be posting much, but I'll try to fit them in.

Me, Myself, and I

Bleh, sorry for not posting. I hate not being able to stay in contact with you guys. Anyway, this isn't a rant-y post. (Yaaay) It's not Wizard101-related either. (Boooo) This is kind of just about me, which you may have gotten from the title.

I'm a book person. I love, love LOVE fantasy/adventure novels, and if it's funny, it's a plus. Rick Riordan is my favorite author, by far. In fact, you might even call me a fangirl. Okay, so I *am* actually a fangirl. (20 more days until The Son of Neptune is released. Bleh.) I'm actually going to be at a Rick Riordan book signing in October since he's coming to a city in Massachusetts that's only an hour away. I believe that every good book should be treated like it's the bible. I get mad if something gets spilled on my book, or it gets rained on or something. If I really like a book, I wont put it in my backpack. Instead, it'll be pressed against my chest, and I'll have my nose stuck in it at every opportunity.

I collect bookmarks. Call me nerdy, but I've gotten some good ones over the years. Here are some of my favorites:

The one on the upper right was made by a girl a grade ahead of me. She was the BEST artist in the school, but now she's in highschool, so now she's the best artist there. :P The one on the bottom left had the head of the Wicked Witch of the West's head attached to the body, but uh...there was an accident. I:

I love to draw. I'm not the best at it, but I'm getting better. I have a deviantART account, I'm Happyfreak107 (Yea, yea, same as my twitter) if you have one too, send a comment my way! Right now there's a lot of Soul Eater fanart up ^^". I haven't been posting a lot of art lately because I've been working on "my box". My box is a shoe box that I got that I'm using to hold all of my high-end art supplies. I've been decorating it with cut-outs of some of my favorite characters from multiple things. So far, I have:
Briar Moss
Luna Lovegood
Leo Valdez
Rue (Shut up, I know she's dead >.< CURSE YOU, SUZANNE COLLINS!)
Percy Jackson
Death the Kid
Nola, from
Magic Can Be Murder
Mimi Langlander
Piper McCloud
and Kagamine Len. I dunno who else I'm gonna draw yet.

I have a moronic cat named Julius Cesar who doesn't understand gravity, and, quite possibly, has a split personality disorder.

I look A LOT like Katniss Everdeen, despite the fact that her eyes are grey, and mine are green or brown, it depends, but usually they're mixed. Her skin is also a bit darker than mine, but it's about right in the summer. We share the same birthday, May 8th, although she's a couple years older than me. (Or would I be older than her, since The Hunger Games takes place in the future?) We also both usually keep our hair in a braid, which makes it really creepy. I also ship Team Peeta, although not by much, for those wondering. Frankly because I'm only on book two, and Peeta and Katniss have had more interaction time so far. That can always change.

Alright, that's about it! [Shut up, Jane, I'm not mentioning you, have the Spiral is already plagued by your madness! Just, stop bothering me! Yea, I *know* that's not physically possible, stop reminding me!]

p.s. Don't ask about Jane. Trust me. You do NOT wanna know.

Avoid the Inevitable

Well, Irene is just about done around here, the power didn't get knocked out, nor did the cable, and I only heard one tree crack. The worst was about 7 hours ago, so I'm good. But a bigger storm is coming tomorrow.

So, tomorrow's Monday. Tomorrow's the first day I've school. I'd be lying if I said I was remotely happy about it. So, I wont be on as much, I wont be posting as much, and I'm going to *try* not to rant.

So um...that's it.

Well That Sure Put on a Depressing Mood

(I'd like to say, first of all that when I was writing that title I made a typo and put "moos" instead of "mood")

Second of all, I feel like I've been totally inactive lately. Probably because I have been. Why, you ask? Well....I blame Soul Eater. I've been thinking about watching it for a while, then my friend Rebecca started watching it and that cut it. So, I started watching it, and I have to say, it was amazing. I highly suggest for all anime lovers. Although, I should warn you, a lot of times there's blood (sometimes more than 8 pints.) but it's not the gory type of blood. And usually it's when someone gets smacked. There's also mild language, mild language and um...some "lustful" images.

ANYWAY, getting to the matter at hand. So by now most of you have heard that Homework in a Graveyard is done. Am I upset? Not as much as some of you.
I'd like to say that I knew Autumn well.
I'd like to say that I was an avid reader of HiaG.
I'd like to say that I read her blog from the beginning.
I'd like to say that.

But I can't.

Don't get me wrong, I think Autumn had some great ideas and was really creative. I loved the whole idea of the 8 Bit Trials. It brought Wizard101 contests to a whole new level. And while I do think the blogsphere has taken a hit from losing Autumn, it's not like we're losing her for good. She'll still play, we'll still get to see her. So look on the bright side. She made history in our Spiral.

And after all, history wouldn't be history if it wasn't dead and gone.

So for now, I bid you a fond farewell, Homework in a Graveyard.

Regarding the Party

Alright, for the non-twizards, the party has been postponed, on account of the friend glitch. The party has been postponed to its original time TOMORROW night. Just a reminder, the port bus is Golem Court, Vampire Area 1, look for Alura Willowbreeze. The time is 8:00 PM EST, but the port bus starts at 7:45. If the bug is not fixed by then, well, I'll figure something out. By the way, Donna is NOT going to be at the party, as the house belongs to my Balance Wiz, and I need to monitor for trolls.
Sorry for the inconvenience, the location is still a secret, and thanks for the understanding!

Cya!

p.s. For that one person who has apparently had the idea that this is THEIR party, I'd like to remind them that they do not even know the location, that I had the idea for it, and I am the host. If you continue with such actions, I will be forced to bring out the frying pan.

Cyrus Drake, Worst Teacher Ever? Possibly.

I'd like to say, first of all, that I have nothing against Myth wizards and the school of Myth in general. Cyrus Drake is, however, not my favorite teacher. My tiny little Myth wiz is level 9, and has experienced his....temper....as he has tried to get me to find the Wumpus. I do like Ivan, though, for he is a trickster. ;D

I do like Cyrus' character, he's one of those love-to-hate kind of people. So, I made this:

C'mon, Myth Wizards, how many times have you wanted to break into his house at night and draw a mustache on his face in his sleep?

So, in conclusion, Wumpus, Moomintroll, Squijax.

Summer WILL Go Out With a Bang If It's the Last Thing I do!

I know, I know, not a very catchy title.

So anyway, I have a house on my Balance Wiz, Paige, that I've been just dying to have a party in. Ask Heather or Kestrel, it's AWESOME. But to keep an element of surprise, I'm not telling you what house it is. If you've already seen it, then I should hope you keep it a secret, an if not, I may be forced to get violent. ;)

Okay, so, here are the details:
When: Next Friday, August 19th, 2011
Where: ??????
Time: 8:00 P.M. EST
Port bus: Alura Willowbreeze Golem Court, Vampire Area 1, 7:45 P.M. EST

Come as you are, or, you know, don't.

Deffending my Reasons

OK, so this post is a little rant-y for the people who were in that "certain conversation" on Skype. I try to be upbeat most of the time, and I attempt at being happy, but I'll admit, I do have a temper. And, truth be told, if I said and did everything that came to mind at school, by now, I'd be expelled.

So by now most of you have probably heard of Nick. Over the past year, he's been trolling around Skype, and he's done some less-than-legal things. He's seriously hurt some people, most of which were, and continue to be, my friends. I've dealt with people like Nick before, they say they've changed but they never really have. This isn't the first time he's acted up, and in the past, people have forgave him. I wasn't one of them.

There's an old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

What happens if it's the eighth time?

LOOK! NICOLE HAS HAIR!

For the record, I was totally against this.

Pfff. I wasn't.

Wait....I have WHAT?

I don't want to get involved here.

I may regret this later, but right now, I don't care! You see, my sister, Nicole, hates showing her hair.

Chris, I swear I'm going to kill you.

...Which is why she usually wears a hood. This is her usual one:

Hey, since when did you hit level 20?

June. Chris, you do realise I have heck hound now, right?

Yes,and I have Frostbite. But you see, Donna had the idea-

-Which is why I think it's stupid.

I'll pull out my centaur right now and have him shoot you.-

-to have us each do Crab Alley and make a rebel outfit. Cap of Diplomacy, Rockin' Outfit, Adventurer Boots, in our regular colors, then whatever wand/staff/sword we happen to use most. And with the cap of diplomacy, your hair shows.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I swear, when I get meteor strike, you're going down.

I support this completely.

Okaaaay, I'm going to shut this down before the blog explodes or something.

Cya!
This may be my last night to live!
It will be.
Why am I even here?
Bye!
I'll be keeping Nicole from killing Christina.

(Disclaimer: Nicole Ravenblood is my level 21 Pyromancer, Paige Dayriver is my level 34 Sorcerer, Donna Spellthorn is me, level 54 (almost 55) Theurgist, Christina Spiritthistle is my level 37 Thaughmaturge, Brooke Stormcaster is my level 15 Diviner, and Scarlet Duskglade is my level 16 Necromancer)

Wake Me Up When September Ends

It's that time again, folks! Yes, it's......RANT TIME! But this time I need to get something off my chest that has been bugging me since roughly October 25th. PERCY JACKSONITES, UNITE! Yup. The Lost Hero.

WARNING:
This post contains spoilers, and I do not suggest reading it if you are reading The Lost Hero, or plan to. If you have read it, I hope you will agree with me on my views. If you do not plan on reading The Lost Hero, you may read it anyway, though you wont get the references.

Hey, don't say I didn't warn you! Now if you'll exuse me while I do my best Rachel Elizabeth Dare impression. *ahem*

In the final book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Last Olympian, Rachel became the new Oracle of Delphi and predicted the next great prohpecy:

"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
To storm or fire the world must fall
An oath to keep with a final breath
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death"

We know four of those half-bloods already; Jason Grace, Piper McLean, Leo Valdez, and Percy Jackson.

Now this next line is seriously bothering me. "To storm or fire the world must fall" I just thought about it this morning, and it clicked. Jason is a son of Jupiter, Roman god of the sky, right? He can ride on winds, create lightning, and STORMS. Leo is a son of Hepheastus, Greek god of metal work and fire. Leo can create FIRE. Thus, the fate of the world is on one of their shoulders. (Great, we all have to rely on a total goof ball. "See ya later guys, I'll be in the Leo cave!" Scared yet?) One of them might die, and they might have to fight each other. But that's just a guess, though the first part I'm pretty sure about.

The next two lines we don't have much information about. "An oath to keep with a final breath" I don't know why, but I have a nagging feeling that that line is talking about Piper dying, but I doubt that's gonna happen. Then again, it's Rick Riordan. When you think you know where he's going with something, he pulls a fast one and it goes in a totally different direction.

And then there's the last line. "And foes bear arms to the doors of death" Normally I would say the Underworld, but with all the Roman mythology, I'm going to go with Pluto's Realm. This might also have to do with Nico. (Speaking of Nico, has anyone else noticed what a massive fanbase he has? I mean geez, these people! Why do all the girls fall for the emo kid? A kid starts acting depressed, and suddenly he's a teen heart throb.)

Now regarding the name of this post, besides the fact that it's a GreenDay song, The Son of Neptune, sequal to The Lost Hero, is schedualed to come out this October. Can we wait 3 more months without our heads exploding? Maybe. Just maybe. But honestly, I could wait for the rest of the Kane Chronicles to come out. Though they're still good, they can wait until later. GIVE US THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS NOW!!!!!

And you know what I'm really afraid of happening? The Son of Neptune ending with something like "Percy watched as three white vans pulled up, the words Delphi Strawberry Serviced painted on the side. A girl with blond hair and storm grey eyes stepped out." Yea, wouldn't that be horrible?

Cya!

p.s. I apologize if you find any spelling errors, spell check wasn't working.

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!

OK, OK, before we get started, let me just say....HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! *party horn*

Ta-da!!!!!!

Alright, so, concerning the title of this post, it's that wonderful time of year again! And if you've been with me for a year now, you SHOULD know what I'm talking about. It's Summer, it's July, and for me, that can only mean one thing: (drum roll please).....................................DRAMA CAMP! So for the four weeks of July, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time Zone, I'll be inactive on Twitter, Facebook, Skype, and in The Spiral. Instead, I'll be playing capture the flag, listening to Doug talk about Albuquerque, (Hey. You got weasels on your face.) why North Dakota doesn't exist, (don't ask) the secret to being a monk, (And do you know what he found? WHAT?!?! I can't tell you, you're not a monk) and a really weird story about a blind man who accidentally ate his wife (nomnomnom), having a BLAST with Mr. West, learning a dance, learning some songs, hanging out with Alura and Rebecca, (the only ones reading this who'll get those references) and ultimately, being a drama queen. So uh, there's your heads up! So for now....

COMING SOON (dundundun)

Besides something BIG that's coming to the Diary, this is my 150th post. I would have posted about my 100th and my blogaversary (January 1st, baby!) but ehehe....I forget things.

But, moving onto the big news, well, I'll just let the picture describe it. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll remember the two on the sides. And if you're Alia, Amber, or Alura, you'll know the one in the middle. Muahahaha.

Mwahahaha. See if you can guess!

My Thoughts On The Dragonrider Gear

First of all, I'm not here to brag, so hush you ranty people. Well, let me just say that, first of all, this is how people get addicted to gambling, so it's best not to get into it now. I think it's a bit much to get worked up over considering, well....I've seen the clothes. There a bit too....err.....Homo Erectus (cave man for those of you who don't know who Lucy is yet) for me. And no, I'm not being inappropriate here, that's a genus, as in the first name in the scientific name of a species. Yours is Homo too, Homo Sapien Sapien, actually. But enough with the sixth grade Social Studies/seventh grade Science lesson. Ehehehe....I like my teachers too much. So yes, I believe the Dragonrider gear looks rather primitive, so remember! We're wizards, not a pre-evolutionized human. However, I do kind of like that bone dragon mount......Oh well, I'm not gonna take a chance.

But enough of my thoughts-what are yours? Comments!

Summer Reading (Sure, why not? Everyone else is doing it)

I'm in a better mood today, it comes and goes in a rather Bipolar-like pattern.

So, as summer is upon us (12 more days of school, WOOHOO!) my school finds it a good idea to force upon us books that, well, (pardon my French) suck eggs. They're either boy oriented, popular-girl oriented (thanks for the stereotyping), or books that most people have already read. So, even though I've done this before, I'm going to make a list of my FAVORITE books/series of all time! (In order of favorites)

  1. The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. It's a sequel to The Percy Jackson series, and it just came out last fall. However, if you have read the previous series, I do not recommend you read it until this fall. Why? Because there's a horrible cliffhanger at the end and the next book hasn't come out yet. CURSE YOU AND YOUR AWESOMENESS, RICK RIORDAN! He's been teasing us in The Kane Series. Ex: "Manhattan has...other...problems." "We compare him to our Roman god, Vulcan." "We couldn't just go to Pluto's realm like all the other respectable Romans..." "I swear I saw a winged horse fly over Manhattan once."

  2. Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordan (Sorry, he's my favorite author)

  3. The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan

  4. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

  5. The Harry Potter Series by (doh) J.K. Rowling

  6. The Circle of Magic Series by Tamora Pierce

  7. 11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass

  8. The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester. If you chose to read this and you get to the very sad part about the main character, do not despair, all is not lost. This book also includes the most evilly horrid villain ever.

  9. They Key to Rondo by Emily Rodda (I love Mimi)

  10. Magic Can be Murder by Vivian Vande Velde. This book has something for everybody. There's romance, comedy, magic, mystery, horror, and, frankly, epicness.

  11. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. OK, so I'm only on chapter two, but it's good so far.

  12. Radiance by Alyson Noel (with the two dot things over the e)

  13. Ingo by Helen Dunmore. Not much of a climax, but it's still good.

  14. The Garden of Eve by K.L. Going. Be warned, this book is incredibly sad.

  15. Avalon Web of Magic by Rachel Roberts

  16. Stolen Children by Peg Kehret

  17. Heartbeat by Sharon Creech

  18. Half Magic by Edward Eager. It's for younger kids, but I still suggest you read it.

  19. Eggs by Jerry Spinelli

  20. The Boy Who Dared by Susan Campbell Bartoletti (about the Holocaust)

  21. White Fang by Jack London

  22. Mandy by Julie Edwards (Yes, the actor and once-was singer)

  23. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

  24. Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech

  25. Inkheart by Cornilia Funke. I didn't find Inkspell and Inkdeath to be as good.
Ehehehe....I read too much. And for the record, most of those books were extremely hard to place.

Now for the books I plan to read this Summer.

  1. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne

  2. Forbidden Sea by Sheila A. Nielson

  3. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

  4. The Lightning Thief (again) by Rick Riordan, and possibly the rest of the Percy Jackson Series

Radiance was on that list too, but...ehehe....I read fast.

Now for books I suggest you don't read and why

  1. Thirteenth Child by Patricia C. Wrede. There are just somethings that you don't mix. One of them being magic and the great western frontier.

  2. Heroes of The Valley by Jonathan Stroud. It's not that it's not good, it's just at a lot higher reading level than mine. And I'm at 12.5
And now, for a picture of all of my favorites stacked (Minus Heartbeat and Eggs because I don't own them. Oh, and The Throne of Fire because I have no clue where it is...)

:D Okay, that's it. I hope you read (and enjoy) those books! Remember, they're epic!

Cya!
