Ding!

Notice anything different? Eh? No? (note: it's not the gold)

And the good thing is, now that Zafaria's out I can continue questing in Celestia (I've been lazy)

and still level!

Oh, Lordy Lordy

It's time-
For us to leave?
No, for updates!
Well that isn't nearly as fun.
OK, so we'll go in order of levels. You may take this as a surprise, but I'VE been questing in Celestia. Right now I'm level 59, and as the title gave away, I recently got Forest Lord. And MAN has it come in handy!

Speacial thanks to: Alia Lotuspetal, Cassandra Griffindreamer, Mary Dreamshade, and Flint Swiftfist! Although I'm still not done with Celestia even though Zafaria is out ^^"

Um...I'm almost done with Mooshu, but I want to have Colossus first and I'm only 37, so it's side questing for me!

I'm in Hametsu Village! Have been for a while....

I'm wearing a dress.

O...kay.....What she meant to say was that she's level 23 and she has a new look! ...Right?

I'm still wearing a dress. See for yourself!

Isn't it horrible? Uhm....you're the one who picked it out. Well it was better than the mini-skirt. HA!

Now THAT I wanna see.
Oh, shut up.

Well, I'm level 21....and I'm stuck in the same outfit....'CAUSE NO ONE WILL GIVE ME CASH!
At least it isn't THAT outdated. Scarlet's was like, level 10.

I'm still level 15, and I'm in the same clothes...but I have a Blue Raptor Sword! (Thank you, KI Free Games!)

I'm level 16!!!! And I have the Tranquil Cottage for a house! But there's not really anything in it......

Um...so yea.

Cya!
Bye!
Adios!
You're a department.
(Scarlet, half the people here don't know what that references to)
(I don't care.)
We'll be back!
Have fun in Zafaria!
Good luck saving the Spiral!

(Donna = Life, Christina = Ice, Paige = Balance, Scarlet = Death, Nicole = Fire, Alura = Myth, and Brooke = Storm)

Almost.

Almost. Yes, yes, I almost did.

Yes.

Almost.

If you haven't noticed, lately most of the first-generation bloggers have been quitting. Friendly's pretty much half-dead (as Heather put it, a zombie), and there are only a few of us left. And, if you haven't noticed, I haven't been posting....at all. And I was almost the next to bite the dust.

Almost.

But I'm not. Why? Because I actually LOOKED at my blog instead of closing the tab for the first time in, oh, a month. How did that help? One month ago, I had 45 followers. Now I have 48. WOOHOO! That boosted my spirits! Unfortunately, this year's been tough and I have a lot of homework. On the other hand, I've been more outgoing this year. Which is yay, considering last year I had less than a handful of friends, but that's okay. I still won't be posting much, but I'll try to fit them in.

Me, Myself, and I

Bleh, sorry for not posting. I hate not being able to stay in contact with you guys. Anyway, this isn't a rant-y post. (Yaaay) It's not Wizard101-related either. (Boooo) This is kind of just about me, which you may have gotten from the title.

I'm a book person. I love, love LOVE fantasy/adventure novels, and if it's funny, it's a plus. Rick Riordan is my favorite author, by far. In fact, you might even call me a fangirl. Okay, so I *am* actually a fangirl. (20 more days until The Son of Neptune is released. Bleh.) I'm actually going to be at a Rick Riordan book signing in October since he's coming to a city in Massachusetts that's only an hour away. I believe that every good book should be treated like it's the bible. I get mad if something gets spilled on my book, or it gets rained on or something. If I really like a book, I wont put it in my backpack. Instead, it'll be pressed against my chest, and I'll have my nose stuck in it at every opportunity.

I collect bookmarks. Call me nerdy, but I've gotten some good ones over the years. Here are some of my favorites:

The one on the upper right was made by a girl a grade ahead of me. She was the BEST artist in the school, but now she's in highschool, so now she's the best artist there. :P The one on the bottom left had the head of the Wicked Witch of the West's head attached to the body, but uh...there was an accident. I:

I love to draw. I'm not the best at it, but I'm getting better. I have a deviantART account, I'm Happyfreak107 (Yea, yea, same as my twitter) if you have one too, send a comment my way! Right now there's a lot of Soul Eater fanart up ^^". I haven't been posting a lot of art lately because I've been working on "my box". My box is a shoe box that I got that I'm using to hold all of my high-end art supplies. I've been decorating it with cut-outs of some of my favorite characters from multiple things. So far, I have:
Briar Moss
Luna Lovegood
Leo Valdez
Rue (Shut up, I know she's dead >.< CURSE YOU, SUZANNE COLLINS!)
Percy Jackson
Death the Kid
Nola, from
Magic Can Be Murder
Mimi Langlander
Piper McCloud
and Kagamine Len. I dunno who else I'm gonna draw yet.

I have a moronic cat named Julius Cesar who doesn't understand gravity, and, quite possibly, has a split personality disorder.

I look A LOT like Katniss Everdeen, despite the fact that her eyes are grey, and mine are green or brown, it depends, but usually they're mixed. Her skin is also a bit darker than mine, but it's about right in the summer. We share the same birthday, May 8th, although she's a couple years older than me. (Or would I be older than her, since The Hunger Games takes place in the future?) We also both usually keep our hair in a braid, which makes it really creepy. I also ship Team Peeta, although not by much, for those wondering. Frankly because I'm only on book two, and Peeta and Katniss have had more interaction time so far. That can always change.

Alright, that's about it! [Shut up, Jane, I'm not mentioning you, have the Spiral is already plagued by your madness! Just, stop bothering me! Yea, I *know* that's not physically possible, stop reminding me!]

p.s. Don't ask about Jane. Trust me. You do NOT wanna know.

Avoid the Inevitable

Well, Irene is just about done around here, the power didn't get knocked out, nor did the cable, and I only heard one tree crack. The worst was about 7 hours ago, so I'm good. But a bigger storm is coming tomorrow.

So, tomorrow's Monday. Tomorrow's the first day I've school. I'd be lying if I said I was remotely happy about it. So, I wont be on as much, I wont be posting as much, and I'm going to *try* not to rant.

So um...that's it.

Well That Sure Put on a Depressing Mood

(I'd like to say, first of all that when I was writing that title I made a typo and put "moos" instead of "mood")

Second of all, I feel like I've been totally inactive lately. Probably because I have been. Why, you ask? Well....I blame Soul Eater. I've been thinking about watching it for a while, then my friend Rebecca started watching it and that cut it. So, I started watching it, and I have to say, it was amazing. I highly suggest for all anime lovers. Although, I should warn you, a lot of times there's blood (sometimes more than 8 pints.) but it's not the gory type of blood. And usually it's when someone gets smacked. There's also mild language, mild language and um...some "lustful" images.

ANYWAY, getting to the matter at hand. So by now most of you have heard that Homework in a Graveyard is done. Am I upset? Not as much as some of you.
I'd like to say that I knew Autumn well.
I'd like to say that I was an avid reader of HiaG.
I'd like to say that I read her blog from the beginning.
I'd like to say that.

But I can't.

Don't get me wrong, I think Autumn had some great ideas and was really creative. I loved the whole idea of the 8 Bit Trials. It brought Wizard101 contests to a whole new level. And while I do think the blogsphere has taken a hit from losing Autumn, it's not like we're losing her for good. She'll still play, we'll still get to see her. So look on the bright side. She made history in our Spiral.

And after all, history wouldn't be history if it wasn't dead and gone.

So for now, I bid you a fond farewell, Homework in a Graveyard.

Regarding the Party

Alright, for the non-twizards, the party has been postponed, on account of the friend glitch. The party has been postponed to its original time TOMORROW night. Just a reminder, the port bus is Golem Court, Vampire Area 1, look for Alura Willowbreeze. The time is 8:00 PM EST, but the port bus starts at 7:45. If the bug is not fixed by then, well, I'll figure something out. By the way, Donna is NOT going to be at the party, as the house belongs to my Balance Wiz, and I need to monitor for trolls.
Sorry for the inconvenience, the location is still a secret, and thanks for the understanding!

Cya!

p.s. For that one person who has apparently had the idea that this is THEIR party, I'd like to remind them that they do not even know the location, that I had the idea for it, and I am the host. If you continue with such actions, I will be forced to bring out the frying pan.

Cyrus Drake, Worst Teacher Ever? Possibly.

I'd like to say, first of all, that I have nothing against Myth wizards and the school of Myth in general. Cyrus Drake is, however, not my favorite teacher. My tiny little Myth wiz is level 9, and has experienced his....temper....as he has tried to get me to find the Wumpus. I do like Ivan, though, for he is a trickster. ;D

I do like Cyrus' character, he's one of those love-to-hate kind of people. So, I made this:

C'mon, Myth Wizards, how many times have you wanted to break into his house at night and draw a mustache on his face in his sleep?

So, in conclusion, Wumpus, Moomintroll, Squijax.

Summer WILL Go Out With a Bang If It's the Last Thing I do!

I know, I know, not a very catchy title.

So anyway, I have a house on my Balance Wiz, Paige, that I've been just dying to have a party in. Ask Heather or Kestrel, it's AWESOME. But to keep an element of surprise, I'm not telling you what house it is. If you've already seen it, then I should hope you keep it a secret, an if not, I may be forced to get violent. ;)

Okay, so, here are the details:
When: Next Friday, August 19th, 2011
Where: ??????
Time: 8:00 P.M. EST
Port bus: Alura Willowbreeze Golem Court, Vampire Area 1, 7:45 P.M. EST

Come as you are, or, you know, don't.

Deffending my Reasons

OK, so this post is a little rant-y for the people who were in that "certain conversation" on Skype. I try to be upbeat most of the time, and I attempt at being happy, but I'll admit, I do have a temper. And, truth be told, if I said and did everything that came to mind at school, by now, I'd be expelled.

So by now most of you have probably heard of Nick. Over the past year, he's been trolling around Skype, and he's done some less-than-legal things. He's seriously hurt some people, most of which were, and continue to be, my friends. I've dealt with people like Nick before, they say they've changed but they never really have. This isn't the first time he's acted up, and in the past, people have forgave him. I wasn't one of them.

There's an old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

What happens if it's the eighth time?

LOOK! NICOLE HAS HAIR!

For the record, I was totally against this.

Pfff. I wasn't.

Wait....I have WHAT?

I don't want to get involved here.

I may regret this later, but right now, I don't care! You see, my sister, Nicole, hates showing her hair.

Chris, I swear I'm going to kill you.

...Which is why she usually wears a hood. This is her usual one:

Hey, since when did you hit level 20?

June. Chris, you do realise I have heck hound now, right?

Yes,and I have Frostbite. But you see, Donna had the idea-

-Which is why I think it's stupid.

I'll pull out my centaur right now and have him shoot you.-

-to have us each do Crab Alley and make a rebel outfit. Cap of Diplomacy, Rockin' Outfit, Adventurer Boots, in our regular colors, then whatever wand/staff/sword we happen to use most. And with the cap of diplomacy, your hair shows.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I swear, when I get meteor strike, you're going down.

I support this completely.

Okaaaay, I'm going to shut this down before the blog explodes or something.

Cya!
This may be my last night to live!
It will be.
Why am I even here?
Bye!
I'll be keeping Nicole from killing Christina.

(Disclaimer: Nicole Ravenblood is my level 21 Pyromancer, Paige Dayriver is my level 34 Sorcerer, Donna Spellthorn is me, level 54 (almost 55) Theurgist, Christina Spiritthistle is my level 37 Thaughmaturge, Brooke Stormcaster is my level 15 Diviner, and Scarlet Duskglade is my level 16 Necromancer)

Wake Me Up When September Ends

It's that time again, folks! Yes, it's......RANT TIME! But this time I need to get something off my chest that has been bugging me since roughly October 25th. PERCY JACKSONITES, UNITE! Yup. The Lost Hero.

WARNING:
This post contains spoilers, and I do not suggest reading it if you are reading The Lost Hero, or plan to. If you have read it, I hope you will agree with me on my views. If you do not plan on reading The Lost Hero, you may read it anyway, though you wont get the references.

Hey, don't say I didn't warn you! Now if you'll exuse me while I do my best Rachel Elizabeth Dare impression. *ahem*

In the final book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Last Olympian, Rachel became the new Oracle of Delphi and predicted the next great prohpecy:

"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
To storm or fire the world must fall
An oath to keep with a final breath
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death"

We know four of those half-bloods already; Jason Grace, Piper McLean, Leo Valdez, and Percy Jackson.

Now this next line is seriously bothering me. "To storm or fire the world must fall" I just thought about it this morning, and it clicked. Jason is a son of Jupiter, Roman god of the sky, right? He can ride on winds, create lightning, and STORMS. Leo is a son of Hepheastus, Greek god of metal work and fire. Leo can create FIRE. Thus, the fate of the world is on one of their shoulders. (Great, we all have to rely on a total goof ball. "See ya later guys, I'll be in the Leo cave!" Scared yet?) One of them might die, and they might have to fight each other. But that's just a guess, though the first part I'm pretty sure about.

The next two lines we don't have much information about. "An oath to keep with a final breath" I don't know why, but I have a nagging feeling that that line is talking about Piper dying, but I doubt that's gonna happen. Then again, it's Rick Riordan. When you think you know where he's going with something, he pulls a fast one and it goes in a totally different direction.

And then there's the last line. "And foes bear arms to the doors of death" Normally I would say the Underworld, but with all the Roman mythology, I'm going to go with Pluto's Realm. This might also have to do with Nico. (Speaking of Nico, has anyone else noticed what a massive fanbase he has? I mean geez, these people! Why do all the girls fall for the emo kid? A kid starts acting depressed, and suddenly he's a teen heart throb.)

Now regarding the name of this post, besides the fact that it's a GreenDay song, The Son of Neptune, sequal to The Lost Hero, is schedualed to come out this October. Can we wait 3 more months without our heads exploding? Maybe. Just maybe. But honestly, I could wait for the rest of the Kane Chronicles to come out. Though they're still good, they can wait until later. GIVE US THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS NOW!!!!!

And you know what I'm really afraid of happening? The Son of Neptune ending with something like "Percy watched as three white vans pulled up, the words Delphi Strawberry Serviced painted on the side. A girl with blond hair and storm grey eyes stepped out." Yea, wouldn't that be horrible?

Cya!

p.s. I apologize if you find any spelling errors, spell check wasn't working.

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!

OK, OK, before we get started, let me just say....HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! *party horn*

Ta-da!!!!!!

Alright, so, concerning the title of this post, it's that wonderful time of year again! And if you've been with me for a year now, you SHOULD know what I'm talking about. It's Summer, it's July, and for me, that can only mean one thing: (drum roll please).....................................DRAMA CAMP! So for the four weeks of July, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time Zone, I'll be inactive on Twitter, Facebook, Skype, and in The Spiral. Instead, I'll be playing capture the flag, listening to Doug talk about Albuquerque, (Hey. You got weasels on your face.) why North Dakota doesn't exist, (don't ask) the secret to being a monk, (And do you know what he found? WHAT?!?! I can't tell you, you're not a monk) and a really weird story about a blind man who accidentally ate his wife (nomnomnom), having a BLAST with Mr. West, learning a dance, learning some songs, hanging out with Alura and Rebecca, (the only ones reading this who'll get those references) and ultimately, being a drama queen. So uh, there's your heads up! So for now....

COMING SOON (dundundun)

Besides something BIG that's coming to the Diary, this is my 150th post. I would have posted about my 100th and my blogaversary (January 1st, baby!) but ehehe....I forget things.

But, moving onto the big news, well, I'll just let the picture describe it. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll remember the two on the sides. And if you're Alia, Amber, or Alura, you'll know the one in the middle. Muahahaha.

My Thoughts On The Dragonrider Gear

First of all, I'm not here to brag, so hush you ranty people. Well, let me just say that, first of all, this is how people get addicted to gambling, so it's best not to get into it now. I think it's a bit much to get worked up over considering, well....I've seen the clothes. There a bit too....err.....Homo Erectus (cave man for those of you who don't know who Lucy is yet) for me. And no, I'm not being inappropriate here, that's a genus, as in the first name in the scientific name of a species. Yours is Homo too, Homo Sapien Sapien, actually. But enough with the sixth grade Social Studies/seventh grade Science lesson. Ehehehe....I like my teachers too much. So yes, I believe the Dragonrider gear looks rather primitive, so remember! We're wizards, not a pre-evolutionized human. However, I do kind of like that bone dragon mount......Oh well, I'm not gonna take a chance.

But enough of my thoughts-what are yours? Comments!

Summer Reading (Sure, why not? Everyone else is doing it)

I'm in a better mood today, it comes and goes in a rather Bipolar-like pattern.

So, as summer is upon us (12 more days of school, WOOHOO!) my school finds it a good idea to force upon us books that, well, (pardon my French) suck eggs. They're either boy oriented, popular-girl oriented (thanks for the stereotyping), or books that most people have already read. So, even though I've done this before, I'm going to make a list of my FAVORITE books/series of all time! (In order of favorites)

  1. The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. It's a sequel to The Percy Jackson series, and it just came out last fall. However, if you have read the previous series, I do not recommend you read it until this fall. Why? Because there's a horrible cliffhanger at the end and the next book hasn't come out yet. CURSE YOU AND YOUR AWESOMENESS, RICK RIORDAN! He's been teasing us in The Kane Series. Ex: "Manhattan has...other...problems." "We compare him to our Roman god, Vulcan." "We couldn't just go to Pluto's realm like all the other respectable Romans..." "I swear I saw a winged horse fly over Manhattan once."

  2. Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordan (Sorry, he's my favorite author)

  3. The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan

  4. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

  5. The Harry Potter Series by (doh) J.K. Rowling

  6. The Circle of Magic Series by Tamora Pierce

  7. 11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass

  8. The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester. If you chose to read this and you get to the very sad part about the main character, do not despair, all is not lost. This book also includes the most evilly horrid villain ever.

  9. They Key to Rondo by Emily Rodda (I love Mimi)

  10. Magic Can be Murder by Vivian Vande Velde. This book has something for everybody. There's romance, comedy, magic, mystery, horror, and, frankly, epicness.

  11. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. OK, so I'm only on chapter two, but it's good so far.

  12. Radiance by Alyson Noel (with the two dot things over the e)

  13. Ingo by Helen Dunmore. Not much of a climax, but it's still good.

  14. The Garden of Eve by K.L. Going. Be warned, this book is incredibly sad.

  15. Avalon Web of Magic by Rachel Roberts

  16. Stolen Children by Peg Kehret

  17. Heartbeat by Sharon Creech

  18. Half Magic by Edward Eager. It's for younger kids, but I still suggest you read it.

  19. Eggs by Jerry Spinelli

  20. The Boy Who Dared by Susan Campbell Bartoletti (about the Holocaust)

  21. White Fang by Jack London

  22. Mandy by Julie Edwards (Yes, the actor and once-was singer)

  23. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

  24. Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech

  25. Inkheart by Cornilia Funke. I didn't find Inkspell and Inkdeath to be as good.
Ehehehe....I read too much. And for the record, most of those books were extremely hard to place.

Now for the books I plan to read this Summer.

  1. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne

  2. Forbidden Sea by Sheila A. Nielson

  3. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

  4. The Lightning Thief (again) by Rick Riordan, and possibly the rest of the Percy Jackson Series

Radiance was on that list too, but...ehehe....I read fast.

Now for books I suggest you don't read and why

  1. Thirteenth Child by Patricia C. Wrede. There are just somethings that you don't mix. One of them being magic and the great western frontier.

  2. Heroes of The Valley by Jonathan Stroud. It's not that it's not good, it's just at a lot higher reading level than mine. And I'm at 12.5
And now, for a picture of all of my favorites stacked (Minus Heartbeat and Eggs because I don't own them. Oh, and The Throne of Fire because I have no clue where it is...)

:D Okay, that's it. I hope you read (and enjoy) those books! Remember, they're epic!

Don't Know What To Say.

I wake up at 6 o'clock.
Brush my teeth, get on clothes, eat.
Listen to the radio
On the way to another torturous day.

I see my friend.
She pretends not to see me.
Pang pang pang.
A silent sound.
Heard by all but one.

My heart twists in a knot.
Because I don't know
Whether to feel pitiful or envious
Because my friend,
She doesn't know.

Put on a fake smile.
Pretend every thing's okay.
See the looks.
Pang pang pang.

Everyday,
Every painful, depressing day,
Another piece of my heart,
Fades to nothing.

Work hard in Science.
Hardly work in Math.
Ignore the teasing
That I hear in English.

Run in Gym.
I run for one reason.
Because for one minute,
I can get away.
Leave everything behind,
Buried in my dust.

Wait for it to be over.
Two more classes.
How long can it take?
Feels like eternity.

I hear the teachers mention her name,
Talk about how nice she is to everyone.
Sure, everyone who doesn't defy her
If they knew, would it change?

Social Studies teacher, he sees the look
Sees it on my face.
Asks if every thing's alright.
My heart says no.
My mouth says yes.

Yearbook assembly.
Great, I get to stand in front of everyone.
Pretend I like someone
Who's ruined my life.

My name is called.
Clap clap.
Clap clap.
Done.
Because they've heard the rumors
That aren't true.

Her name is called.
Loud clapping.
Cheers.
Standing ovations.

I swore, under my breath.
Would you still like her,
If you knew what she's done?
I bet you would.

Because that's how it works.

Final bell rings.
Freedom at last.
How was school?
Good. I lie.

Go home.
Go to my den.
With people I like.
Where I have a life.

Thought about it too long.
Something warm and wet
Slides down my cheek.
For the third time this week.

That cold, sad, twisting feeling.
Too familiar now,
Shows up in my chest.
No wonder how.

Pang pang pang.
Goes my heart.

Truth be told, I don't know if I'm quitting. I feel like I should. But part of me says no. The guidance counselors do nothing. My parents can't do anything. I don't blog to be famous. I blog to share my feelings. To keep a diary. It was a diary about Wizard101, but now it's just me. I think it'll go back to Wizard101 in a while. Either when I'm in high school and Kira's at a different one, or this gets cleared up, or some other reason. But for now, I am very much here, and I'll be around. Don't know when that'll be, but I'll be around.

@#$%

I'm in SUCH a bad mood right now.

So congratulation's to all you official bloggers out there. Have fun with your stupid gift card. While the rest of us just stand by and watch you guys gloat. And even though I've been blogging for over a year now, longer than some of the official bloggers, all I get is criticism. No, no one cares that I had to put my cat down. No one cares that I was dragged to a funeral for someone I barely knew two days before my birthday. And you know, it really sucks that because I'm 2,000 miles from Texas, I get that gift card TWO WEEKS after you guys do. So while I watch everyone flaunt their stupid gear all I can do is watch. Sure, it doesn't matter that the bullying is getting worse, and now other kids are joining in. Picking on me, shooting me looks like I'm a freak.

Oh, and by the way, I'm quitting blogging. I've thought about this for a while now, and I think I should go through with it. I'll post now and then, but for now, I'm done. It's too much of a hastle. I'll be on Wizard101, and Twitter, and Skype, and Facebook, but for the time being, it looks like this is

Goodbye.

"I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you – Nobody – too?
Then there's a pair of us?
Don't tell! They'd advertise – you know!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!
How public – like a frog –
To tell one's name – the livelong June –
To an admiring Bog!" -Emily Dickinson

I'm Gonna Miss You, Rose.

So some of you know that my cat has cancer. We found out it was cancer is August, they said she'd have four months to live. It was a lump growing in her muscle, and it's been getting really big lately. It finally broke through the skin recently, which means she'll be in a lot of pain and bleeding everywhere. My mom says we'll have to put her down soon. I hope sh can last until my birthday, but my mom doesn't think so. My birthday's in 15 days. I've been with her since I was three. I knew the day would come, but I was just hoping she would last until August 1 so she could be 10. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll remember how upset I was when Mickey died. I knew Mickey for six months. I've known Rose for nine years. I still remember the day we got her. My mom and I walked into the adoption room, where tons of cats came out. My mom was kneeling and bent over while we both looked through all the kittens. I looked up, and there was a little black and white kitten with an uneven mustache climbing on my mom's back. I pointed to her "I want that one!". She asked me what I wanted to name her. I said Blackrose, Rose for short. We took her home and let her out of the crate. She jumped out and started attacking the dust floating in the room. A few hours later, after she had explored the house, she was curled up on the chair in the family room. I was sitting on the floor, watching Spongebob. My mom was asleep on the couch. I knew how cats could be picky and not like you at first, so I decided to sit at the other side of the chair, and get closer as she got used to me. To my surprise, she looked up, walked over, and sat down right next to me. She picked us. I was hers. She was mine. She's my first cat, and I'll never forget her.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

So, I took a trip to (as the title suggests) The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston! YAAAAY! I went with Alura, her sister, Rebecca, and our irl friend, Shale, along with my mom and Alura and Rebecca's mom. We went to see the Dale Chihuli exhibit, but we saw some other things too. I took 109 PICTURES!!!! I put them into 3 different slide shows so you could see. It would have been 1 long one, but Slide put a temporary photo limit on their slides. Please take the time to look through all of them, they only take about 5 minutes, and there are some really cool pictures.

I do expect comments on this!

p.s. I got a 3DS and it's EPICLY AWESOME!

A Rough Patch, Inspiration, and a Rant (not in that order)

Yea, not in order.... So I've been going through a hard time in my life. Kira's getting worse, and it's anti-bullying week in our school. Yay. It's miserable. Tell ya what, guidance counselors, if you actually want to do something about the bullying, deport Kira. Being bullied is like being in a dark room with no way out. You try to break through the wall, you break your foot. You give up, you betray yourself...that's the one thing you can't do. I almost hit Kira in the lunch room the other day. Fist clenched, knuckles white, muscles tense, the whole deal. I don't know if suspension would be worth it. I wish they would stop the anti-bullying week, because it just makes the victims feel worse. I cried for an hour while I was in the shower. So, while I'm in this rough patch, thanks for all your support. *insert sarcasm here* Because that's the next thing I want to talk about. I know this is going to sound all whiny, but we've all had these posts, so don't be a hypocrite. I'm really sick of not being an official blogger. When you think of a famous blogger, you think Friendly, Alia, Kestrel, Stephen. Not Donna. Never Donna. When you think of those bloggers who've been around forever and aren't going anywhere, that's when you think of Donna. And you know, it really sucks when you go to a big blogger party and everyone just thinks of you as another one of those desperates trying to get someone famous to add them just so they can brag to their friends that they know someone famous. And something else, and I know you don't care, but I'm gonna say it anyway. Every time after I work my butt off to make a post, I check the comments. So, I always check the comments. And it really makes me feel unappreciated when I see "0 comments". So please. It doesn't have to be long, just share your thoughts. Seriously, it takes two minutes. And, the last thing............... You don't get to find out. That's the thing. COMMENT your guess on what you think it is. I will then pick the top four most popular guesses and make a poll out of them around, say, Wednesday. (I'm on vacation this week) Alright, so start guessing!

Lots of Pictures in This Post (25!)

Yup, you heard right! 25 pictures! Don't you look at me like that, I had a lot to show you. What with our countdown surprise, the contests (no, I'm not hosting one), my garden, and so much more! Hmm...I'll start off with my garden, save the best until last. I've seriously started to take up gardening, this is my MFP garden. I'm going to get rid of it once everything turns elder. My stinkweed is in solitary confinement.

Here's a young prickly bear cactus, two adult desparagus, and a young baby carrot.

Bread fruit bush, rye bread fruit bush (upper right), and a cornbread fruit bush (lower middle.)

This is my King Parsley, but if you ask me he looks more like King Broccoli.

Deadly helephant ears, helephant ears, silver trumpet vines as seedlings, evil snow peas, honey sickle, young evil magma peas, laugh-o-dil (I would help it out, but uh...)
and next to it is going to be a pink laugh-o-dil.

Those two young dandelions are going to be pink and orange. Then I have a ninja fig and boom shroom.
Snap Dragon! :D

~~~~~~
I made a little scene, you can guess what's going on, can't you?
Mwahahahahahaha......
~~~~~~

And now, for our April Fool's day surprise countdown, we have.................................THE ROCK PET! In my opinion it's so goofy it's cute, so I bought one.

Impossible to tell the difference, right?

That's what it does when you scold it (click to enlarge).

I built mine a rock habitat. Look to the far right, it's Selena Gomez!

That's the end of the rock dance, he jumps in the air. (sorry for the weird order on the rock dance)
Begining of the rock dance, he twirls around.

My rock habitat at large.

Random picture. So, by now you probably all know about Ravenwood Radio's contest for the sunshine pony mount. Well, last night I competed, and guess what? I WON! That's right, I'm now one of only FIVE people who have a sunshine pony. Here are some pics. Sun on it's rear :P I love its eyes. Ta-da! *sparkle sparkle* Well, that's it from me.

Upcoming Events + A Short, School-Related Rant

First of all, sorry, no Seven today. Sorry if I let you down, but I'll post more of it this weekend. It's just hard to find time to write it on school days.

And, here it comes, the rant! So we started on the reproductive system in Life Science class today. Actually, I'm not going to say anything about how "weird" or "disturbing" it is. My dad is a COLLEGE HEALTH AND FITNESS TEACHER. I was five when he started telling me about mitochondria. Is it any wonder I have an A is Science Class? I think not. But as I was saying, I'm here to rant about how immature everyone's being. OH. MY. GOD. It's how you were born, it's how your parents were born, it's how most of your pets were born, it's how every mammal (accepting the platypus, freaky little creature...) in the history of the world was born. GET OVER YOURSELF! You can't live without 'em, everyone person on the planet has 'em, so suck it up and DO YOUR WORK! It's just part of life. (by the way, for those of you who don't know how it works, don't ask me, I'll leave that to your parents and teachers.) You can't go on believe that storks bring children. You want kids one day, don't you?

So, now that we're done with that, what you've all been waiting for. Spring is here, even though we got snow last night (CURSE YOU, NEW ENGLAND WEATHER!), and that means it's the start of butterfly season. I've raised butterflies from caterpillars two years previous, and now I'm doing it again. I know you always see little kids in those commercials, but it's not childish at all. It's really cool. To see those tiny little caterpillars (eggs, sometimes, depending on when they arrive) turn into cocoons, and then butterflies? It's the coolest thing ever! You get to feed them, and watch them grow, they may look skittish, but they really trust you. When I let mine go, there was one that didn't wanna come out. I stuck my finger into their container, and it climbed onto it. When I lifted my finger up, it didn't fly away until it was outside. So I'm going to order them again this year. Either five or ten, it depends if you can get the special order online, I already have the holder. Perhaps you picked up on the hints? This time, I'm sharing it with you. Yup! A video everyday, posted up here...hopefully...there may be no videos some days, and a couple another. But the really awesome thing is, after you release them, you'll see them around your house. And, the next spring and summer, you'll see their descendants, even though they've never even been to the place you released them. Oh, and in the videos, once they become butterflies, you'll see these red blotches in places. Don't worry, it's not butterfly blood. It's...uh....their...uh....waste...products........ANYWAY........................

Chapter Two
~Kimberly~
She had green eyes that lit up like flames, and brown hair put up into pigtails tat stuck out of the side of her head. She struck me as a hippie at first, ripped, bell-bottom jeans, flowery shirt, and dirty, worn sandals. “Sorry,” she said, helping me up and dusting off her jeans. “I was in a rush, I was trying to-” Get away from something watching you. She didn’t have to finish the sentence. I knew what she was going to say. “Never mind. You’d think I was crazy if I told you. My name’s Kimberly, by the way.” Looking at all the scattered seed packets (among which was an ipod), I said “I’m Allison, why are you carrying all these seeds?” She grinned, picking up her belongings “Follow me.”
She led me to a little spot in the center of town that I didn’t even know existed. It was hidden from sight by buildings, and it didn’t look like it belonged to any of them, because if it did, it would be in much better shape. I stood knee-deep in weeds, which surrounded a moldy fountain—on which rats were crawling—and overrun a couple of classic park benches. “It was ten times worse when I found it.” Kimberly said. “I asked each of the owners of the buildings if they wanted it, and they said no, so I asked them if I could have it. They said it was a dirty old park that couldn’t be fixed, so they let me have it. Said no matter how much I weeded it would stay the same. But they don’t know me. I’ve got the greenest thumb around, and I can fix up any garden ‘til it’s lusher than the Garden of Eden ever was, no matter how bad a state of repair it’s in. Wanna help?” I looked around; it was going to be some project, but I wasn’t one to back down from a challenge. So I said, “Sure.”
Then that feeling came back. That feeling that someone was watching me, only this time, it felt threatening. I looked around, no one was there, but I could see Kimberly felt it too.
Have to get away.
Something told me, “Uh, I really should get going.” I said, “I mean, it’s getting late, my parents’ll be worried. But I’ll meet you here tomorrow.” Kimberly nodded absently, looking around for what was causing the odd feeling, “Yea…yea, I should get going. See ya tomorrow.” She said.
We parted and I ran off towards home, wondering what tat strange feeling was.
Something weird’s going on here. That feeling, it wasn’t right, it was like someone was trying to watch me, find out what makes me tick. Part of me thought, Don’t be ridiculous! The other part of me argued, You’re being paranoid, it’s nothing. I tried to convince myself, Then how come Kimberly could feel it too? Admit it! Something strange is happening. I thought, but then something else came to my realization, You don’t know that she felt it! For all that you know, she could have been looking at a bird or something, it doesn’t mean she’s as psychologically messed up as you are. But I still couldn't believe that nothing weird was happening, You saw the look on her face! She felt it too, she knows there was something happening!
It kept going on back and forth like that all the way home, I felt like a yo-yo, going back and forth, back and forth.
Even when I reached home, I was still oblivious to everything. When I barged in the front door, my mom told me something, can’t remember what, just went straight up to my room. Fell back onto my bed, covered my face with a pillow. Tried to come up with an explanation, couldn’t think of any. Instead I passed out on my bed, my brain was overworked from trying to figure out exactly what happened and why. Next thing I knew, my mom was calling me down for dinner.

Seven

Before I begin, *shoves Jane out of the way* (trust me, you REALLY don't want to know), sorry about that last post. I've hit a pothole on the rode of life and Wizard101 just isn't enough to get rid of all the stress anymore. You remember Kira? It's gotten worse. And SOMEONE I know needs to make a decision.

ANYWAY....you're probably wondering why this post is entitled "Seven". WEEEELLLLLL........(No Jane, not yet, STOP BUGGING ME!) So I was out walking the other day and I started thinking about Wizard101. And, well, I got an idea. For the record, I am NOT abandoning POWERS, so don't freak out, Jessica. There's no rule that says I can't work on two projects at the same time. I may or may not finish it, it depends on how much support I get from you guys. Finished or not, I'll make a tab for it by The Drake Kids. It may be the only thing up for a while, depends on whether or not I get a good idea for a post worth posting. So, uh, let's get started. (OK, Jane, now.)

Chapter 1:
~Allison~

July Seventh, 2007. That day. That was the day everything changed. Don't get me wrong, it was a completely normal day...at first. My name's Allison, by the way. Allison Sandforge. But back then it was just Allison. I was just walking on the beach, thinking about why I even put up with the people at school who tease me for my “abnormality”. I could do things, things that I didn’t know what they were. Once our class was outside for the first time in spring, and there was a lot of sand for the ice on the pavement from that winter. I got mad, and suddenly, there was a sandstorm brewing. It chased after the girls who had made me mad, and by the time the teacher was back and my temper was under control, it was just…gone. And when I was in trouble, if there was a salamander nearby, it would just come up and stand next to me.
I dug my toes into the sand. I guess kids made fun of me because I was good at everything. And I mean everything. MVP in track, soccer, softball, lacrosse AND competitive swimming. Not to mention I was an A+ student in every class, made great projects in art class, and all the teachers just loved me. I was perfect in everything I did. And I hated it. See, try as I might, there was nothing I really loved to do.
Until we learned about the dessert in Geography. Now that was cool. The sand, the heat, the blazing white heat of the sun and the constant struggle to live, it made me come alive. Of course, with the dessert came Egypt, and that was even better. The history of it all, the strange allure of mummification, ancient kings, the epic battle between Moses and his own brother, Ramses, to set his people free from slavery, the gods, the pyramids, and the Nile, the lifeblood of Egypt!
I ditched my sandals, didn’t want them, didn’t need them. Ran across the sand, let my feet touch the cool sand, felt it shift underneath my weight. Cart wheeled over the sand, did a front-flip in the air, started to run faster, but then I felt something…someone was watching me. It wasn’t a bad feeling though, it felt like a good presence. But still, it made me feel uncomfortable. I had to get away from it, quickly. I wanted to go the park in the center of town, but it was so far away. I thought about it, thought about the little white gazebo, the people laughing and playing, dogs catching Frisbees, old people sitting on the maple wood benches feeding bread crumbs to pigeons. And then, the park wasn’t a thought anymore, it was real, I was there. How did this happen? I thought. I was just at the beach a second ago…that’s impossible…I—someone bumped into me and knocked me to the ground. I looked up at the culprit. She looked so familiar…like I was supposed to know her, from a dream or something, like it was destiny that made her bump into me.
“Hey…” she said, completely unfazed by the fact that she had knocked us both to the ground, but she looked the same way I felt. Like we were supposed to meet.
I'll post more of that tomorrow, if not today. So please comment, and let me know what you think!

Hey, Guys...

Yea...you can probably tell by the title of this post that this isn't good. If I only know you in-game (meaning you're not on Skype, Twitter, Facebook, ect.) you probably have seen me in, oh, two weeks. Why? One word: Celestia.

And for those of you who are planning their hate-filled comments right now, stop reading this and get of my blog because I'm in no mood. In my eyes, Celestia was a mistake. I've also noticed that everyone who is crazy for PvP LOOOOOVES Celestia. For the rest of us, like me, who hate PvP, it's stupid. Wizard101 just isn't as fun as it was. I'm hoping I'm just on a hump, and I'll get over it soon, but I walk the same streets I have been for two years now and I don't feel the magic.

Yes, I do blame Celestia. I hate seeing Legendaries on their stupid shark mounts wearing that ugly gear that you guys have been fawning over. I don't want to be Legendary! I don't want to have to give up the gear that I've farmed so hard for that I love that you all have thrown away!

And while you guys are all thinking "What's happened to you? You're not like this!" YES I AM! I'm not the one that's different! Celestia's changed you guys!

C'mon think about it! Celestia has forced people to leave! Cody's gone, Alyssa's gone, Amber's gone, Destiny and Cody are gone, Cass's gone, David's gone, Dustin's gone! Remember them? They used to be your friends! I haven't been caught up in all this Celestia crap! I watch them change, bit by bit. Then they leave. Who's next? Kestrel? Jessica? Alia? Some of them left in the hype of Celestia, others left when they were bored with it. IT. DOESN'T. MATTER. Celestia's made this happen, and I wish it'd never happened.

You aren't the same as you used to be. And I miss the real you. So stop with Celestia for a bit, and think about the old times, when we could still have fun without thinking about Celestia.

Bye.

I LOVE BALANCE WIZARDS! A post from Paige

Hey! This is Donna's Balance Wizard, Paige, posting for the first time ever! So, yesterday, way back when I was level fifteen, I decided that I wanted sandstorm so I started questing. I quickly leveled up after doing some side-questing and got me a shiny new sandstorm card! So today I got to level eighteen and got the quest for mander minion!

*three corny tree jokes later*
So I went through a bunch of stuff then came face-to-face with the King Scorpion! O: Here's a picture:

So I finally got my minion, though I've yet to try it out. I'm currently trying to find stupid gem stones, but I'm having trouble. Do you want a picture of how I look? 'Course ya do!

Toby's mah little buddy. :)

Paige, don't you think we should announce the you-know-what?

Oh yea! We're going to be putting tabs up for all of us! Yes, Scarlet, Nicole, Brooke, even Christina!

Yup, my blog is dead, since I never post anymore.

So, that's about it don't forget to give a huggie to the next mander you see!

MLK

"One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One man come he to justify
One man to overthrow
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resist
One man washed up on an empty beach
One man betrayed with a kiss
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
Early morning, April four
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride!
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love
IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
What more in the name of love"
-Paul David Hewson
No, this is not a stupid poem. C'mon guys, you didn't think his real name was Bono, did you? This happens to be one of the greatest U2 songs in history. And it's about the day Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Why am I posting this? CAUSE TODAY'S MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY! I want ALL OF YOU to listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im9jWZ1yzwg it's that song. THAT'S AN ORDER!
Think about what MLK did for us, personally. If he didn't do what he did, we either wouldn't know Alia and Malorn, or our parents wouldn't let us hang out with them. Along with all the other dark-skinned Wizard101 players. Think about it! Would there be a 'colored' section of the Spiral? Or would they not be allowed to play, period? I always think, if Martin Luther King didn't get killed, Barak Obama would have been our second black president.
So, as a result. Today's Willing WizardS of the Week are............
ALIA AND MALORN!
